In today’s world of complexity, competition and rapid growth of technology managing a business and ensuring its smooth functioning is the key to success. This is where Business Management plays an important role.

This subject throws light on the various functions of a business and the integration of these functions. It covers strategies essential to achieve the business objectives. The case studies encourage discussions and help to enhance the knowledge of varied cultures.

The Business management course is designed to include theory, concepts, cases and projects.  It aims at building a solid foundation of knowledge, application of what is learnt through concepts and theory and the ability to research and analyze. It encourages critical thinking, helps to explore ethical implications of business decisions.

At the end of the course one should be able to evaluate alternative theories of management, compare different models and approaches, understand various business strategies and evaluate these in the context of the business environment. It gives the student an insight into the subject and as a part of the day to day activities of the world we live in.
